Each year, hundreds of international students choose UQAT for its programs in creation and new media, mining and groundwater, forestry and engineering. The quality of the training and research carried out in these areas as well as the university’s specialized laboratories and state-of-the-art equipment provide students with an extraordinary learning experience.

UQAT also distinguishes itself by offering bilingual study programs, respectful of indigenous perspectives, which respond to the labour needs of communities and thus contribute to improving the living conditions of indigenous people.

In total, more than 120 undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs are offered at UQAT.

UQAT has developed specific programs for Inuit and First Nations students that meet their specific needs. The pedagogical approaches used in programs offered at UQAT Val-d’Or campus have been adapted in order to make room for indigenous perspectives.
