The Corporation de développement de l’enseignement supérieur de la Vallée-de-l’Or wishes to recognize the remarkable work of students attending the Centre d’études supérieures Lucien-Cliche, be it the students of the UQAT Val-d’Or Campus. For all awards, student must attend UQAT, Val-d’Or Campus, for the majority of his courses for the current academic year and must be in the process of succeeding in all his/her winter session courses. Also, student must be registered to the Fall and Winter sessions of the current academic year. Academic performance will be taken into. Academic excellence scholarships

Academic Excellence Scholarships are based on student’s grade point average. Scholarships are awarded for students from Bachelor in Preschool Education and Primary Teaching, Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor in Nursing Sciences and Aboriginal Programs. Academic Excellence Scholarships are also awarded for student from Programs in Management sciences and Graduate programs. Finally, a new Excellence Scholarships are awarded to Distance Education programs.

No form is required for this type of scholarship.

Recognition adward

Recognition Awards are offered to students who have completed the required application form(s) and who meet the eligibility criteria.

Complete the form and submit your candidacy:

  4. Print the evaluation sheets (in the Additional Forms section hereunder) and make sure that they are completed by the relevant person and organization to complete your file.

DEADLINE for applications: March 1

— Scholarships will be remitted to the laureates during an evening ceremony that will be held in April.

Categories of recognition scholarships

BACK-TO-SCHOOL AVARD
This scholarship aims to support and encourage students who have returned to school. To be eligible, students must: Have left the school system (full-time) for a consecutive period of two or more years; Have returned to school in the current year.
To be complete by a teacher

ORIEL-RIOPEL SCHOLARSHIP (GRADUATE)
This scholarship recognizes the constant perseverance efforts made by a student, regardless of encountered difficulties and that maintained a good average all throughout his/her university studies.*Requirement: scholarship is awarded to students that will be graduating at the end of the winter 2018 semester.
To be complete by a teacher

JACK NADON – COMMITMENT AWARD
This award will be granted to a student who completed the major part of his studies in Val-d’Or and has been officially recognized for his social, community or environmental engagement outside regular school activities. Academic performance will be taken into consideration.
To be completed by an organization

SCHOOL-FAMILY AWARD
This award is granted to a student who is able to balance academic achievement with family responsibilities.

STUDIES-WORK SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship aims to recognize the path of a student that combines studies with the obligations related to paid work as to be able to continue his education.

CONTRIBUTION TO STUDENT LIFE AWARD
Students who wish to apply for this scholarship must demonstrate their involvement in university life on the Val-d’Or campus.

PART-TIME SCHOLARSHIPS
New! This scholarship aims to to recognize students who demonstrate and maintain an interest in further developing knowledge and learning, while accommodating other commitments. *Requirement: must be registered in the current semester, and have completed 12 credits in the program.
