Graduation ceremony

Celebrate the success of the graduates!

In this exceptional and uncertain context, UQAT will be offering virtual Graduate Ceremonies in June to highlight the remarkable efforts and success of our graduates. An event in the image of UQAT: human, creative and audacious!

If you have finished your studies in 2019 (summer or fall) or in 2020 (fall, winter or summer) or will finish in 2021 (winter), you are among the graduates who will be celebrated during this event.

An official invitation with all the details will be sent by email in mid-April. Keep an eye on your emails!

Like every year, the diplomas will be mailed to the graduates.

2020 - 2021 UQAT GRADUATE PHOTOS

In the meantime, do you want a photo of yourself wearing a graduation gown, as a special souvenir of this moment? As it won't be possible to take pictures at the Graduation Ceremony in its usual format, UQAT can still offer you a number of options.
*Note that photo sessions will be at the student's cost

All of these events have been planned to comply with public health rules in effect. If this means you need to go to one of UQAT's campuses or centres in person, please note: you must complete the Form on access to the buildings and declaration of state of health before you travel.

GRADUATION PHOTOGRAPHY BY TERRITORY

NOT ABLE TO TRAVEL?

If you cannot get to one of these places on these dates, you may also choose to get your graduation photo taken with the photographer of your choice, at whatever time suits you best.

Below are a few simple tips to keep in mind, to match the style of UQAT's official graduation photos.

  • Wear a black gown
  • Solid colour background (ideally gray or neutral)
  • A black mortarboard is allowed. Please note that during the photo session, the tassel of the graduation cap must be placed above the left eye, which means that you are a graduate.
  • Hold a rolled-up, white scroll
  • Ideally, tie or white collar
