Mon programme de recherche porte sur la sylviculture et l'aménagement écosystémique en forêt boréale. Plus spécifiquement, je m'intéresse aux effets de l'intensité de la récolte sur la structure et la composition des peuplements, la régénération et la composition des communautés végétales de sous-bois. Je m'intéresse également aux effets des pratiques sylvicoles sur les propriétés physico-chimiques des sols, aux relations sols-plantes et aux effets de la faune du sol sur le cycle des nutriments et la nutrition des semis. Ces travaux visent à développer des traitements sylvicoles alternatifs permettant l'aménagement durable des écosystèmes forestiers.
